Dispute Resolution (Resorting to Competent Court and Domestic and International Arbitral Tribunals) Court in Iran

The most common and prominent way of settling disputes in Iran is appealing to the court meanwhile, arbitration is also available to settle disputes.

Litigation process in Iranian courts shall be as follows:

  1. Submission of petition to the court and payment of court fees
  2. Registration of the case in court office and setting a court date
  3. Serving documents to the opponent and holding the court hearings
  4. Issuing a verdict (or a writ)
  5. Appeal
  6. Enforcement
